Using the Log On pageBEFORE YOU START:Please note that you need to have received two letters from Goodbody
Stockbrokers which will provide you with all the required login details
before you will be able to login. The Goodbody WebAccess service is developed to operate on Microsoft Internet Explorer for PC with Service Pack 1 or higher. Goodbody WebAccess is currently not available to other browsers or platforms. If you wish to upgrade your Internet Explorer to the latest service pack it can be downloaded for free from the microsoft website. FIRST TIME LOGIN:The first time you try to login you must complete the steps listed below. For subsequent logins the process will be shorter. On your first login you will be asked to enter your Username and Password. The Username is your Goodbody Client Code and is 8 characters long. The first 4 characters being letters and the last four being numbers e.g. GSDK1234. (Please ensure you do not confuse the letters o and l with zeros and ones an vice versa when entering the client code). You must enter the Password issued by Goodbody Stockbrokers in lowercase. (The password is provided in one of the two letters regarding Goodbody WebAccess that you should have received) Then click the "NEXT" button. SETTING YOUR OWN PASSWORDYou will now be presented with a screen with three textboxes requesting
"Old Password", "New Password" and "Confirm New Password"
. NB! The next time you login, the password that you have set will be required not that which was issued by Goodbody Stockbrokers.
Password RulesYour new password should:- contain at least one letter, one number and one special character (e.g. * or ! or $ etc.) (special characters NOT to be used are: "(double-quote), £ (pound sign), . (full stop) and # (hash sign). - NOT contain any character sequence repeated more than three times. - NOT be the same as the user name, or the user name in reverse. - NOT contain any words from the account name, either forwards or backwards. - NOT contain any initials present in the account name. - NOT be shorter that eight characters or longer than sixteen characters. SETTING YOUR SPECIAL WORDYou will now be presented with a screen with three textboxes requesting "Username", "Special Word" and "Confirm Special Word". The Username is the same as was entered during Login Step 1 and is 8 characters long. The "Special Word" is a word that is at least 3 characters long that you pick yourself. (Special words may also contain numbers but not spaces). The Special word is not issued by Goodbody Stockbrokers. Once you have picked and entered your Special Word retype it into the Confirm Special Word box. (Please note your special word is case sensitive). Then click the "Update" button. TERMS AND CONDITIONSYou will then be asked to review and accept the terms and conditions of the website before being allowed to proceed further. Upon acceptance of the terms and conditions you will automatically be directed to the Goodbody WebAccess home page. If you decline the terms and conditions you will not gain access to the site. SUBSEQUENT LOGIN:After your initial login only 2 login steps are required for subsequent attempts. Login Step 1: Login Step 2: You have not been issued with login details?Goodbody Stockbrokers clients will receive login details in a phased
basis. Two letters will be issued that will supply the required login
details. Please note that there may be a delay between receipt of both
letters. You have entered your logon details incorrectly?Your password and secret word are case sensitive. Please check your CAPS LOCK button to ensure you are using the same case as was used to set the password. Please ensure that you are not adding any extraneous spacing or hyphens between characters. If using the numeric keypad, ensure that the NUM LOCK button on your keyboard is on. You have lost or forgotten your logon details?If you have forgotten your password or secret word, please contact your Account Manager who will assist you. Contact details are supplied at the bottom of this page. Your account is locked or disabled?For security reasons you are permitted three attempts to enter your logon details. If your third attempt is incorrect, your account will automatically become locked. Please contact your Account Manager to unlock your account. Contact details are supplied at the bottom of this page. You are not a Goodbody Stockbrokers client?Do you wish to open an account and become a user of Goodbody WebAccess? Permission Error HTTP 401.2If you receive an error stating that "You are not authorised to view this page" you will need to add https://www.e-brokernet.com as a trusted site in your browsers internet options under the security tab.
