Hugh joined Goodbody in 2021. He has over 20 years experience advising and investing in technology and growth companies. Most recently Hugh was a partner with Leaf Investments one of Europe’s first edtech focused early stage investment funds, backed by Folens Publishers. He began his career with Broadview, latterly Jefferies Broadview, where he served as Vice President, Technology Investment Banking in London and advised on multiple M&A and venture capital transactions in Europe and the US. He also spent time in corporate development with Paragon Europe. Hugh graduated with a Diplom Kaufmann and Diplôme de Grande Ecole from ESCP Europe in Paris and a Bachelor of Business Studies from Trinity College Dublin.
