Empowering women on their financial journey
In partnership with THE GLOSS, Goodbody’s all-female wealth advisory team founded the Investment Club in response to a clear and growing need: women seeking relevant, empowering financial information to support their journey toward financial independence. Today, the Investment Club is a thriving community of over 1,600 women.
This year marked a bold new chapter. In March, we launched Invest in You — a dedicated space on thegloss.ie, open to all, offering practical tools, expert-led masterclasses, and inspiring stories designed to help women take control of their financial lives.
A recent Goodbody survey revealed that 68% of women feel more reassured about their financial future after meeting with a professional advisor. Even more encouraging, 78% of our Investment Club members reported increased financial confidence since joining. Their journeys are a powerful reminder of what’s possible when women invest in themselves. We invite you to watch the video in section 2 which gives a comprehensive overview of women’s perceptions of wealth in Ireland.

New research from Goodbody reveals a confidence gap in women’s investment decisions.
While Irish women report strong confidence in managing day-to-day finances, new research commissioned by Goodbody and conducted by Red C Research reveals a significant gap when it comes to confidence in investment decisions. The research highlights that although 78% of women feel confident managing their day-to-day finances, only 15% feel confident making investment choices. Despite the low investment confidence, the research shows that engaging with a financial advisor can be transformative: 68% of respondents said they felt more reassured about their financial future after doing so.
