Corporate Finance

Finbarr joined Goodbody in 1999 and became Head of Corporate Finance and a member of the senior management team in 2016. Previously with Cazenove, Lazard and PwC, Finbarr holds an engineering degree from University College Dublin and a D ComSc from Cambridge University. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1993 and is a Member of the Securities Institute.

David joined Goodbody in 2023 and has over 20 years of corporate finance experience. Previously, he founded EVA Consulting to advise on equity fund raising, strategic advisory, and M&A transactions, principally in the medical device and pharma sectors.  He has advised on multiple venture capital, M&A and licensing transactions across all stages from seed to exit.  Most recently, he was CFO of Rose Pharma Inc., a venture backed drug development company. David holds a degree in biochemistry from Trinity College Dublin, an MBA from Dublin City University, and he is a member of the Institute of Directors. 

Don joined Goodbody in 2007. He has significant private company M&A and fundraising experience as well as public market experience having previously worked for Trinity Venture Capital, Davy Corporate Finance and Ernst & Young Corporate Finance (UK). He is Member of the Enterprise Ireland Seed and Venture Capital Committee. He holds a commerce degree from University College Galway. He is a qualified chartered accountant.

Cameron joined Goodbody in 2023 as a Director in the Investment Banking team, having previously worked at Liberum, Canaccord Genuity, Altium and Bridgewell. He is based in the London office and focuses on the Technology, Cleantech and Video Gaming sectors. Cameron has 18 years’ ECM experience and provides corporate broking and advisory services to listed companies and those seeking to undertake an IPO. His transaction experience includes numerous IPOs, follow-on equity issues, secondary sell-downs and public company M&A deals. Cameron holds an MA (Cantab) in Classics from Cambridge University.

Joe joined Goodbody in 2013 and has more than 25 years of equity sales, research and corporate broking experience, specialising in the agrifood and aviation sectors. A regular media commentator, he previously worked at ABN AMRO in Dublin and London, Bloxham Stockbrokers and Goodbody Stockbrokers. He holds an arts (economics) degree and MSc (Economics) from University College Cork.

Piers joined Goodbody in 2016 to lead the UK facing corporate advisory team. He previously worked at Canaccord Genuity, Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan Cazenove and Barclays de Zoete Wedd. He has over 20 years’ ECM experience across all types of equity focused advice for listed companies and for those undertaking an IPO, together with roles as financial advisor to offerors and offerees in recommended and hostile takeovers. Piers holds an MA Hons (Geography) from Cambridge University.

Charlotte Craigie joined Goodbody in 2015, playing an instrumental role in setting up the London office and has significantly raised Goodbody’s profile in the UK with corporates and institutional investors in her Corporate Broking role. Previously, Charlotte spent 16 years in London as an equity sales specialist in Pan European Small and Mid Cap Institutional Equity.

Enda joined Goodbody as Debt Advisory Director in 2024 having previously spent 17 years in various Corporate Banking roles with Ulster Bank and AIB. Enda has arranged working capital, capex and M&A financing for many of Ireland’s leading SME’s, PE backed companies, PLCs and Commercial State Bodies, across a broad range of sectors. Enda has a business degree from South East Technological University.

Aidan joined Goodbody as Head of ESG Advisory in 2022. In his previous role as Head of ESG Markets in AIB Group plc, he was responsible for the construction of AIB’s ESG bond programmes (both Green and Social) and ESG Investor Engagement, while leading out on the groups ESG bond issuance. Aidan has a particular focus on helping clients to prepare themselves to access sustainable finance.

Peter spent over 16 years at Deutsche Bank in their investment banking division in New York and London. Following this, he served as VP, Global Strategy & Development at CRH plc. Most recently he was Head of Technology Banking at Davy. Peter started his career at KPMG where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He holds a B.Comm and M.Sc (Computer Science) and attended INSEAD for his MBA.
